Project Accountant
Job Description
We have an exciting new career opportunity for an accounting professional in the Tampa Bay area. The Project Accountant position has been created due to rapid company growth and will assist with all areas of general accounting, reconciliations, month end close, financial reporting, analysis! This company in the construction space is seeking a professional who can interface well with all types of people inside and outside of the organization and be eager to learn and take on daily challenges. Project Accountant Benefits and Compensation:

- Salary target $70,000 - $80,000, plus bonus
Project Accountant Job Duties:
- Weekly review of outstanding AP and AR and assist with daily JEs
- Reconcile and record credit card transactions
- Weekly preparation of supplier and subcontractor payments
- Prepare customer payment reconciliations for posting
- Assist in month-end close
- Financial and ad hoc reporting
- Maintenance of various spreadsheets to support financial transactions and analysis of expenses
- Participate in the annual budget process and interim forecasting
- Respond to internal and external customer and vendor requests
- Support business process management improvements including electronic and software integration
Project Accountant Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of accounting work experience
- Proficiency in excel; Sage Intacct experience a plus
- Quality interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
- Highly detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
