Job Description

You will collaborate across departments and make business decisions. The role will require a “detective’s mindset” to research bill-back claims and analyze data. - Highly competitive compensation of $60,000 - $68,000 (commensurate with experience)
Trade Analyst Job Duties:
- Become versed in the deductions components, source files, and uploading information into Blacksmith
- Understand the relationship between the ERP software and Blacksmith
- Review bill-backs in WIP and resolve posting issues
- Conduct various tasks such as researching purchase history and performing deviation reconciliations
- Manually create spreadsheets for uploads
- Review and resolve issues related to deductions
- Maintain mapping of information in Blacksmith and perform monthly maintenance of table information
- Generate work orders within Blacksmith to report issues or request help
- Validate report data and create analytic reports as needed for pricing or account analysis
- Responsible for developing and improving analytical reporting
- Manage general accounting activities, including creating invoices with correct GL, tracking repayment of denied claims, and creating sales journal credits with the correct GL when entries cannot be made in Blacksmith
Trade Analyst Skills/Qualifications:
- Associate degree in business/accounting preferred
- 3 years of related work experience, preferably with a mid-sized company
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel for data analysis
- Proven proficiency in utilizing ERP systems
- Microsoft Navision (operating system) experience a plus
- Experience or knowledge of SAP business objects/business intelligence platform a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle a high-volume workload
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Solid analytical skills, including result interpretation and decision-making
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external communication with customers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated sound work ethic
