Job Description
Great opportunity in a strong family office in Pinellas County for a hands-on self-starter interested in being involved in all areas of accounting including month end close! This Senior Accountant will work directly with the Controller and operations team on exciting investments and initiatives!
Senior Accountant Benefits and Compensation:
- In office preferred initially
- Strong benefits package!
- Salary target range $80,000 - $90,000, plus bonus opportunity
Senior Accountant Job Duties:
- Record transactions and review all GL accounts
- Prepare account reconciliations on a timely basis
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist with AP process
- Assist with regulatory reporting, including working with the external CPA
- Assist with internal controls, develop and enforce policies and procedures and quality control processes
- Various ad hoc tasks
Senior Accountant Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of full-cycle GL accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks and Excel required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful with strong critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness of confidential material
