Senior Manager of Global Tax - Director Job Duties 

• Management of Outsourced Tax Partners: Supervise and collaborate with external tax advisors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tax services, including but not limited to corporate income tax, sales tax, VAT, and annual tax reporting.
• Tax Function Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of current outsourced tax functions. Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations regarding which tax functions could be transitioned to an in-house model for enhanced control and cost-effectiveness.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations across various jurisdictions. Manage the preparation and submission of tax returns, including legal entity compliance.
• Tax Strategy Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans. Provide proactive guidance on tax planning initiatives to optimize tax position.
• Process Innovation: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives within the tax function. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance automation, and leverage technology to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional tax projects, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders such as finance, legal, and operations teams. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of tax initiatives.

Senior Manager of Global Tax - Skills/Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree, public accounting and/or CPA strongly preferred
• Proven track record of building and managing tax functions within complex, multi-jurisdictional organizations
• Comfort working in a dynamic, high-growth environment with evolving structures and best practices
• M&A integration and prior PE company exposure preferred
• International tax experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to interface with all levels, including C-suite/PE, etc. possessing executive presence & poise
• Demonstrated ability to drive process innovation and lead cross-functional projects
• Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
