Wonderful client company is expanding its Accounting team, and has asked that we help them find a strong Senior Accountant. A self-starter with public accounting audit or corporate accounting experience and an interest in working both independently and as a team would be an easy addition to this friendly team of professionals. Senior Accountant Benefits and Compensation:
- Hybrid schedule - only 2 days/week in office
- Central location and beautiful offices
- Very strong benefits package
- Target salary $80,000-95,000, plus bonus potential
Senior Accountant Job Duties:
- Perform month-end close responsibilities including preparation of financial statement packages
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
- Partner with business team to understand transactions and arrangements and to proactively ensure proper accounting treatment
- Identify opportunities for automation and improved financial reporting
- Assist in the preparation of external reporting
- Assist in identification and timely settlement of intercompany transactions
- Provide support in the administration of external audits
Senior Accountant Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, CPA a plus
- 2-5 years of professional audit, accounting and/or GAAP experience required
- Corporate accounting experience with an emphasis on accounting for multiple entities and consolidations a plus
- Strong Excel skills
- Positive communicator, well-organized, detailed and able to work both independently and as part of a team
