Senior Financial Analyst – Remote
Job Description
Due to corporate expansion, one of our client companies has asked for our assistance in identifying a new and talented Senior Financial Analyst. This professional will assist with sales commission plans and deal sales support while participating actively cross-functionally. APPLY TODAY to learn more!
Senior Financial Analyst Benefits and Compensation:
- Fully remote; candidate should live in Tampa Bay for occasional collaboration

- Salary target $85,000 - $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunity
Senior Financial Analyst Job Duties:
Sales Compensation Analysis:
- Evaluate and analyze current sales compensation plans.
- Develop and document processes and procedures.
- Learn sales strategies for stakeholder groups; recommend and implement improvements to optimize sales performance and alignment with business objectives.
- Administer the day-to-day operations of sales compensation plans.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast sales performance.
- Utilize data analytics to track KPIs related to sales compensation, deal performance, and more.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Strategic Deal Sales Support:
- Partner with sales teams to provide financial analysis and support for strategic deals.
- Ensure alignment of deal terms with company strategy, financial goals, and GAAP revenue recognition principles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with the CRO, Sales and Practice Leadership teams, HR, and Senior Management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Legal teams.
- Provide guidance on revenue recognition issues and exceptions, working closely with finance and accounting teams to resolve complexities.
Senior Financial Analyst Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales compensation, finance and analytics, business management and operations, sales strategy OR equivalent experience
- Financial modeling experience
- Experience with Xactly, Oracle Incentive Compensation, IBM SPM or similar
- Strong Excel, Power BI and SQL
- Attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills
- Good leadership skills with a willingness to lead and create new ideas
- Strong team player able to collaborate with multiple functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
