AP Specialist | High Growth Company!

An established and steadily expanding organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a close knit team during a period of continued growth. This role supports a function that is evolving through process refinement and increased automation, creating opportunities to contribute beyond day to day execution. The environment is fast moving, collaborative, and volume driven, requiring someone who is comfortable balancing accuracy with pace. The team is intentionally lean and highly tenured, which makes a team-mentality and communication essential. The role provides hands on exposure to operational improvements as the business scales through ongoing acquisitions. Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of invoices accurately across multiple entities
• Apply correct coding and cost allocations in line with entity-specific requirements
• Review and reconcile vendor statements and outstanding balances
• Support the transition and implementation of a new procure-to-pay platform
• Maintain compliance with established AP policies and internal controls
• Identify and escalate coding discrepancies or processing issues promptly
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment disputes
• Assist with reporting and visibility into disbursements and outstanding liabilities
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives led by AP leadership
• Support documentation and workflow updates tied to automation efforts
• Ensure timely and accurate payment runs in accordance with vendor terms
• Perform data entry and system maintenance with a high degree of accuracy

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a corporate AP environment highly preferred; new graduates welcome
• Multi-entity AP experience strongly preferred
• Exposure to large ERP systems required, experience with a P2P platform a significant plus
• Prior experience with system implementations or automation projects, highly desirable
• Comfortable working in systems-driven environments with evolving workflows
• Proficient in Excel at a functional level; heavy data manipulation not required
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around coding accuracy and entity distinctions
• Able to manage high transaction volumes while maintaining quality and deadlines
• Able to work a hybrid schedule with consistent in-office days coordinated around team coverage needs
