Key Responsibilities

• Own the AR and billing process end-to-end.
• Handle high volumes of customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Process and apply payments across cash, credit card, and ACH channels accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage credit and rebilling workflows by investigating discrepancies, applying adjustments, and ensuring accounts reflect accurate balances.
• Take a proactive approach to collections.
• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Learn and operate within two systems simultaneously.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve billing issues, communicate account statuses, and support overall operational goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of AR, billing, or customer service experience with demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
• Strong, holistic understanding of the AR and billing process.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and large volumes of customer interactions without losing accuracy or composure.
• Comfortable and confident following up via phone, you do not avoid difficult conversations and approach collections professionally and persistently.
• Strong customer service skills especially when it comes to resolving billing disputes; you go the extra mile to investigate and fix issues rather than deflect them.
• Process-improvement mindset — you notice inefficiencies and speak up with solutions, not just observations.
• Excel proficiency including pivot tables and lookup functions.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
