Accountant – $70–80k | On-Site

This national organization has a corporate hub in Tampa and is seeking an Accountant to join its core accounting function. This newly created position supports the company’s continued growth and offers the opportunity to take ownership of reconciliations, journal entries, light analysis, and cross-functional support. Responsibilities:
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain schedules related to recurring expenses
- Record routine and adjusting journal entries as part of the monthly closing cycle
- Contribute to basic reporting and variance explanations for internal stakeholders
- Step in to support AP and lend assistance across functional areas
- Collaborate with operational teams to gain insight into transactional activity
- Participate in streamlining processes and enhancing internal workflows
- Leverage Excel for financial tracking and maintain organized, audit-ready records
Requirements:
• 2+ years of core accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Ability to work full-time on-site required
• Strong Excel skills and ability to adapt to new systems
• Inventory or distribution experience a major plus
• Prior large ERP system highly preferred
• Proactive, accountable, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment
