Accounting Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Tampa, FL | Hybrid (in-office with some remote flexibility)
Compensation: $25–$28/hour (commensurate with experience)

This role focuses on clerical accounting tasks for a nonprofit organization, including reconciliations, vendor setup, and AP/AR processing. Key Responsibilities
• Perform general clerical accounting tasks
• Prepare AR and AP for processing; record bank deposits
• Complete account reconciliations and daily data entry
• Manage new vendor setup and verify W9s
• Maintain renewals (insurance, etc.), open mail, and process payments
• Assist with onboarding-related administrative tasks
• Support internal teams and identify process improvement opportunities
What You Will Bring
• Associate’s degree preferred
• Experience with clerical accounting tasks (recs, AP/AR, vendor setup)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable with “soft collections” (relationship-based follow-up)
• QuickBooks Desktop experience a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word
• Critical thinking mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
