Job Description
Accountant | $50K–$60K + Bonus Potential
Location: Clearwater, FL | On-Site | Full-Time
A large, well-established organization in Clearwater is seeking an Accountant to manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting operations in a dynamic, people-first environment. This is a rare opportunity to step into a stable, long-term role with strong mentorship and a collaborative team culture.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage full-charge bookkeeping: AP, AR, billing, payroll, reconciliations, and intercompany entries
- Perform GAAP-based accounting: audit prep, budgeting, forecasting, and year-end close
- Collaborate with leadership across departments to ensure financial accuracy and transparency
- Support seasonal financial activities including budget planning, annual reporting, and fundraising events
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 10+ years of accounting or full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, multi-sheet navigation)
- Experience with modified cash basis accounting is a plus
- Familiarity with ACS Technologies is a bonus
- High energy, collaborative mindset, and strong communication skills

- Work-Life Balance:
- Standard hours: Mon–Thurs 9am–4pm, Fri 9am–12pm
- Busy season (Sep–Feb): occasional extended hours and up to 1–2 Saturdays/month
- Slow season (Spring–Summer): reduced hours and ideal time for vacations
