Senior Accountant | Competitive Salary + Benefits
Location: Sunrise, FL or Tampa, FL | Hybrid | Full-Time
A rapidly growing pharmaceutical services company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, with occasional in-office presence as needed. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about delivering excellence in financial operations.

Responsibilities:
- Report to the Accounting Manager and oversee accounting operations across multiple business entities
- Manage cash flow forecasting and daily cash management
- Handle vendor payments and customer invoicing processes
- Prepare monthly financial reports and conduct financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards
- Maintain and reconcile cash disbursements, A/R, and A/P journals
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Collaborate with accounting staff on financial reporting and close processes
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support audit and tax preparation, including responding to external inquiries
- Assist in forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective action planning
- Monitor revenue and expenses, and prepare special financial reports as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- CPA or advanced degree a plus
- 5–7 years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales industries is a plus
- Familiarity with NetSuite and SAP is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- Comfortable leading meetings and making presentations to increasingly large audiences
- Proven ability to adapt and execute in a fast-paced, evolving environment
