Senior Accountant
Job Description
Senior Accountant | $100K + Bonus
Location: Tampa, FL | Hybrid | Full-Time
A fast-growing, multi-entity organization is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex accounting operations, support acquisition integrations, and contribute to a scalable, high-performing accounting function.
This position is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting knowledge, experience in consolidations, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and analyze monthly firm-level and consolidated cash flow statements
- Record monthly interest journal entries for seller notes and earnout liabilities
- Manage consolidated debt, notes, and post acquisition payout schedules
- Assist with intercompany eliminations and consolidation workbook management
- Support the accounting integration team with opening balance sheet processes
- Review purchase agreements and prepare acquisition templates
- Prepare and review recurring and non-recurring journal entries
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices
- Support ad hoc projects such as labor analysis, model building, and gross profit analysis
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Experience with full-cycle GL accounting and consolidations preferred
