VP of Accounting and Treasury | $240K–$280K + Bonus + Executive Benefits
Location: East of Tampa, FL | Hybrid (2 Days On-Site) | Full-Time

A well-established and rapidly growing organization is seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Accounting and Treasury to lead its accounting operations and financial strategy. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, including a clear path toward a future CFO position. The ideal candidate is an active CPA with deep experience in the CPG industry, a strong command of GAAP, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams through transformation and growth.

What You’ll Do:
- Deliver data-driven financial insights, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Establish and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and risk management procedures
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business goals
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across controllership, treasury, payroll, AR, and AP
- Oversee general ledger, GAAP compliance, and preparation of financial statements
- Manage liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and working capital
- Implement and refine treasury strategies to optimize capital structure and mitigate risk
- Evaluate financing options and support capital planning and investment decisions
- Leverage ERP systems and financial tools to enhance reporting and data accuracy
- Serve as the primary liaison with auditors, banks, and financial institutions
- Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting, operational efficiency, and internal processes
- Support end-to-end transaction processing and ensure timely, accurate reporting
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, using financial analysis to drive profitability and long-term value
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required); MBA preferred
- Active CPA certification (required)
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- CPG (consumer packaged goods) industry experience (required)
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and developing teams
- Experience with large ERP systems (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus
