Senior Inventory Analyst
Job Description
Senior Inventory Analyst – Up to $110k + 10% Bonus (salary commensurate with experience)
Location: East Tampa | Hybrid| Full-Time
A global industry leader is seeking a Senior Inventory Analyst to join its high-performing finance team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment with a strong emphasis on inventory accounting, cost analysis, and SOX compliance across operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, analytical professional to gain exposure to international operations, contribute to process improvements, and work closely with internal and external audit teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze and prepare journal entries for inventory activity, including costing and cost of goods sold.
- Complete and maintain SOX controls for inventory across business units.
- Provide audit support for internal and external audit teams.
- Create, manage, and drive special projects related to process improvements and technical accounting changes.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Maintain vigilance around safety and environmental conditions impacting team members.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of Big 4 public accounting experience or 5+ years in industry with large company exposure
- Strong technical accounting skills, including intercompany accounting and complex journal entries
- Familiarity with GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting best practices
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation)
- ERP experience (SAP S/4 HANA preferred)
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
