Senior Accountant
Job Description
Senior Accountant (Restaurant Group Accounting) | Up to $90K + Excellent Benefits
Location: Tampa, FL (Fully On-Site with Flexible Hours) | Full-Time
A growing hospitality group is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial operations across a portfolio of restaurant locations. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with both finance leadership and restaurant general managers to ensure accurate reporting and drive operational improvements.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with multi-unit experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within a collaborative team. What You’ll Do:
- Own the accounting process for multiple restaurant locations
• Perform bank reconciliations, AP/AR, inventory tracking, and month-end close entries
• Review and analyze revenue from POS systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with restaurant GMs to identify financial trends and improvement opportunities
• Help tell the “financial story” of each location through thoughtful analysis
• Support ongoing process improvements and contribute to a growing finance function
What You Bring:
- 3–5 years of accounting experience (ideal for staff accountants ready to step into a senior role)
• Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or multi-unit environments preferred
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Growth mindset and desire to advance within the company
• Familiarity with Restaurant365 or similar accounting software is a plus
