Staff Accountant
Location: Tampa, FL
Salary: $65,000–$75,000
Benefits: GOLD STANDARD – 15 days PTO, 100% employer-paid healthcare, 401(k) with 100% match up to 4%
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing team in a collaborative environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working across multiple entities and thrives in a dynamic setting. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial processes and supporting the organization’s success.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with month-end close activities and reconciliations.
- Manage intercompany transfers and process ACH payments electronically.
- Work within ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central/Navision – cloud migration underway).
- Prepare and review journal entries with a solid understanding of debits and credits.
- Support AP team with scripted processes and ensure accuracy across entities.
- Utilize Excel for formulas, sorting, and filtering to maintain data integrity.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Experience in a small-company environment with multiple entities preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central/Navision).
- Basic Excel skills and ability to follow processes thoroughly.
