Accounting Operations Associate / Senior Associate | $95k–$110k + Bonus | High Impact, Cash Intensive Environment
Location: Tampa Bay, FL | Hybrid
Role Overview
Join a scaling finance organization where accounting operations directly support high volume cash settlements and revenue integrity. This team manages the movement of funds across multiple counterparties and systems, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely reporting. You’ll work hands on with reconciliations, exception resolution, and control oriented process improvements that keep inflows and outflows aligned across the business.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Support end to end cash movement and settlement processes, validating that collections, disbursements, and recognized revenue reconcile across systems and counterparties
- Prepare and maintain internal reporting packages; assist with required external reporting to partners and governing entities
- Investigate variances, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutions within defined SLAs
- Partner with finance, operations, and external parties to resolve breaks and align on data, timelines, and reporting requirements
- Contribute to control enhancements that strengthen data integrity, operational efficiency, and audit readiness
- Execute complex, high volume reconciliations and exception workflows; propose improvements to reduce recurring breaks
- Use Excel (and, as applicable, BI tools) to analyze large datasets and build repeatable checks
What you bring
- Experience in public accounting, accounting operations, treasury, or other cash intensive roles
- Strong analytical skills; ability to navigate ambiguity and trace issues to root cause
- Proficiency working with large datasets, reconciliations, and structured reporting
- Clear, confident communication with cross functional teams and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and consistency in a fast paced environment
- Comfort with Excel; familiarity with BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) is a plus
- Team oriented approach and motivation to improve processes and controls
