Accounting Associate | Up to ~45k | Rapidly Growing Organization!
Location: Greater Tampa Bay | Hybrid | Contract-to-Perm
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in detail-oriented, manual processes? This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys investigative work and is eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be supporting a data consolidation initiative, working closely with statements in Excel and PDF formats. The role is highly manual, but improvements are underway—so flexibility and adaptability are key. You’ll be joining a team known for its wonderful personalities and positive culture. If you’re organized, a good note taker, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment this could be the perfect fit. Successful completion of background, drug and reference checks required!
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve and format financial summaries into structured spreadsheets and secure documents
- Integrate and verify information from diverse internal and external datasets
- Ensure meticulous recordkeeping and maintain organized documentation systems
- Detect inconsistencies and conduct thorough reviews to resolve data anomalies
- Liaise with external entities to confirm and clarify incoming information when required
- Adapt guidance to various operational contexts using sound judgment
- Document procedures and instructions with precision and attention to detail
- Work collaboratively to refine and streamline manual workflows
- Contribute flexibly to evolving project needs and team priorities
- Manage workload effectively to meet established timelines
- Participate in efforts to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy
- Safeguard sensitive information and uphold data quality standards consistently
Requirements:
- Degree not required; new grads welcome
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Tech-savvy with solid computer skills, including navigating large amounts of data
- Self-starter with a desire to learn and grow
- Critical thinker with an investigative mindset
- Comfortable with manual, repetitive tasks
