Accounting Manager | Competitive Compensation Up to $140k
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid) | Full-Time
The Accounting Manager will report to the Director of Accounting. Our client, a dynamic and well-funded organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a talented Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing organization focused on delivering exceptional value to its clients.
This role demands a high standard of accuracy, integrity, and timeliness, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset to enhance fiduciary management. As the organization evolves, this role offers significant opportunities for professional development, including exposure to broader corporate finance initiatives and the chance to shape the Accounting Services function.
What You’ll Do:
• Oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Services team, ensuring accurate and timely execution of core accounting activities
• Managing the monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting of client funds across various counterparties
• Preparing and reviewing reports, conducting reconciliations, developing and documenting internal controls, and addressing ad hoc client and internal requests
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering their technical expertise and professional growth
• Act as a key liaison between finance, operations, and external stakeholders, driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies
What You Bring:
• 5–7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or data science roles
• Active CPA, CMGA, or CIA certification
• Professional presence with the ability to present to colleagues, executives, and clients
• Self-direction to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight
• Strong project management skills to balance competing priorities
