Accounting Manager
Location: Tampa, FL | In-Office (5 days/week) | Full-Time | Direct Hire
Compensation: $115K–$125K | Bonus Potential
Join a rapidly growing company that’s on track to double in size is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations supporting its fast-paced logistics network. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong GAAP expertise, ERP experience, and the ability to manage high-volume accounting processes while mentoring a developing team.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily accounting workflows, general ledger, and month-end close.
- Manage billing, cost analysis, and reconciliations tied to operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls.
- Lead and develop an accounting team, including mentoring new staff from public accounting.
- Identify and correct discrepancies with confidence and accuracy.
- Drive process improvements and support ERP transition
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 4–5 years managing GL processes and financial reporting.
- ERP experience (NetSuite preferred; MS Business Central a plus).
- Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing staff.
- Nice to Have: CPA or CMA, public accounting background, advanced Excel skills.
