Accounting Operations Senior Accountant Job Duties:

• Manage the full cycle of AP, including invoice processing, T&E reporting and reimbursements, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
• Oversee operational accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and budgeting activities related to AP and operational expenses.
• Optimize SOPs and automation efforts in the large ERP system
• Support operational teams by providing financial insights and ensuring cost control measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Reconcile client accounts on a daily or weekly basis.

Accounting Operations Senior Accountant Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business highly preferred
• 2+ years of progressive transactional accounting and operations experience required
• Software: large ERP, Excel (advanced usage); Tableau and Power BI a plus
• Strong understanding of journal entries, debits, and credits
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills required
• Team player, “get the job done” mentality
• Strong attention to detail skills required
• Superb communications skills required
