AP Specialist
Tampa, Florida | Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 annually
We are hiring for an amazing organization in the Tampa area that is looking to hire an AP Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist supports the organization’s finance function by managing payables and helping improve and automate manual processes. This role is best suited for a critical thinker who enjoys working closely with a small team and contributing to a positive, welcoming workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Process all accounts payable
- Reconcile GL and bank statements monthly and close AP, process check requests, assist with budgets, and complete credit card reconciliations
- Complete misc admin responsibilities
- Support annual audits
- Manage Finance Lead’s calendar and provide other administrative support to the Director
- Complete additional assigned duties
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred
- 6+ years full-cycle AP experience
- Experience with complex ERP systems
- Intermediate MS Office
- Excel skills- data entry, formatting, basic formulas
- Strong communication and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality
- Comfort with busy periods and fast-paced environments
