Accounts Payable Manager Benefits and Compensation:

- Highly competitive compensation of $75,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience)!
Accounts Payable Manager Job Duties:
- Develops, implements and maintains system, procedures and policies including AP functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines
- Ensures the completion of an accurate accounts payable aging and subledger with proper cutoff at the end of each month.
- Acts as a liaison between the company and external customers to meet information needs and to ensure proper information is maintained
- Performs the close process to the general ledger along with assisting in the reconciliation process for balancing the AP subledger
- Supports the general ledger team in resolving issues and working on special projects
- Proper attendance is required
- Process accounts payable invoices for multiple entities
- Verify proper authorization of all invoices
- Process weekly check runs and special check requests, as needed
- File all invoice and back-up documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Research and answer vendor questions
- Manages, coaches and supports AP staff
- Understand W9 requirements and 1099 reporting
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Accounts Payable Manager Skills/Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting preferred
- Management experience is required
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Great Plains experience is required
- Ability to use logical methods to address problems and develop effective solutions
- Solid critical thinking, analysis, and attention to detail required
- Superb communications skills required
