Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
Are you a self-motivated individual who has the ability to pay close attention to detail and has accounts payable experience? If so, we have a position for you! We are conducting a search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team of one of Sarasota’s premier employers, a growing multi-location healthcare services company. Reference and background check will be required.
Accounts Payable Specialist Benefits and Compensation:
- A professional working environment

- Highly competitive rate of $23.00 - $27.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Accounts Payable Specialist Job Duties:
- Traditional Accounts Payable processing and coding
- Handle processing of invoices for multiple entities
- Assist with processing employee expenses
- Answer and respond to vendor inquiries on payment status
- Manage AP Inbox and scanning of vendor invoices
- Assist with setting up new vendors and executing vendor updates/changes
- Prepare & cut weekly check runs for multiple entities
- Special projects, as needed
Accounts Payable Specialist Skills/Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience required
- Strong Excel skills required
- Multi-entity experience strongly preferred
- Must have professional confidence to talk with vendors
- High volume corporate experience
- Good attitude, strong communication, and great organizational skills
