Billing Analyst | $70K–$75K | Value-Add Role, Growth Opportunities
Location: Greater Tampa Bay | Hybrid Setting | Full-Time
A high-performing client is expanding its local team and realigning responsibilities to better serve its elite clientele. We’re seeking a Billing Analyst who can seamlessly blend revenue operations, client engagement, and process precision. This isn’t your typical billing role—think revenue operations with a mix of collections and broker interaction. The ideal candidate will be polished, professional, and growth-minded, ready to evolve into a senior or lead role over time while remaining hands-on and proactive as the company continues to grow. What You’ll Do:
- Support revenue operations through detailed reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Interface with brokers and clients to clarify billing issues and ensure alignment
- Conduct high-touch collections calls focused on resolution and relationship management
- Investigate and resolve complex account discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing workflows
- Maintain accurate documentation for audit readiness
- Assist with month-end close and reporting activities
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
- Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Represent the firm professionally and discreetly in all client interactions
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Experience in collections, revenue operations, or financial analysis
- Strong communication skills, especially when working with high-net-worth individuals
- Ability to navigate complex account structures and perform reconciliations
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Professional demeanor and high emotional intelligence
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
- Growth mindset and ambition to advance within the organization
