AR Collections Specialist
Job Description
AR Collections Specialist| Up to $55k
Location: Greater Tampa Bay
Are you a detail-driven professional who thrives in complexity and enjoys solving puzzles? We’re looking for someone who can confidently manage high-volume collections while navigating the nuances of multi-party invoicing. This role requires curiosity, initiative, and the ability to think critically—not just follow a script. You’ll be joining a team in transition, where your input and adaptability will make a real impact. If you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy digging into systems and processes, this could be the perfect fit. Most importantly, we’re seeking someone who’s ready to jump in and take ownership! Successful completion of background, drug, and reference checks required!
Responsibilities:
- Manage high-volume collections across a diverse customer base.
- Handle complex billing scenarios involving multi-party invoicing
- Ensure invoices reach the correct contacts within large organizations
- Support the integration of customers into large ERP and help optimize system usage.
- Apply credit card and cash payments as needed, with a primary focus on collections.
- Investigate discrepancies and perform research to resolve issues.
- Think critically and creatively to solve problems and improve processes.
- Collaborate with the team to clean up legacy data and workflows.
- Maintain detailed records and follow up consistently to ensure timely payments.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of collections experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Experience with multiple financial systems
- Comfortable handling complex transactions and multi-invoice scenarios.
- Proficient in Excel, including formulas and navigating large datasets
- Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and willingness to work through ambiguity.
