Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide a team within AR, ensuring alignment with departmental goals
- Supervise daily operations and monitor team performance against month-end close timelines
- Partner with the team lead to delegate tasks, align priorities, and maintain workflow coverage
- Train, coach, and mentor team members, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Clearly communicate expectations, objectives, and departmental mission to all team members
- Ensure adherence to company and departmental policies and procedures
- Promote collaborative thinking and encourage self-sufficient work habits
- Identify and resolve operational issues, including internal conflicts and customer concerns
- Contribute to the development, documentation, and refinement of scalable processes
- Maintain strong internal communication across all levels of the team and leadership
- Step in to execute tasks when needed due to absences or workload spikes
- Support ongoing centralization efforts and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure data integrity and logical structure in Excel-based reporting and analysis
- Perform other duties that contribute to the overall success of the department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or Business highly preferred
- 3+ years of direct supervisory experience in a dynamic environment
- Intermediate to advanced Excel - strong understanding of data logic
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
- Top-notch organizational and time management abilities
- Experience with process documentation and implementation
- Ability to analyze workflows and implement effective solutions
- Adaptable and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
