Billing Analyst

Billing Analyst | $70 - $75k | Value-Add Role, Growth Opportunities
Location: Greater Tampa Bay | Hybrid Setting | Full-Time
A high-performing client of ours is expanding its local bandwidth and realigning responsibilities to better support its elite clientele. We are looking for a Billing Analyst to successfully blend revenue management, client interaction, and operational precision. This is not your traditional billing role (think revenue operations with a twist of collections and broker interface). The ideal candidate for this remarkable opportunity will be polished, professional, and maintain growth-minded perspective. We are looking for someone ready to evolve into senior or lead role over time but is willing to roll up their sleeves and take initiative as the company progresses. What You'll Do:
- Support revenue operations through detailed reconciliation and discrepancy resolution
- Interface with brokers and clients to clarify billing issues and ensure alignment
- Conduct high touch collections calls focused on discussion and resolution
- Research and resolve complex account discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing processes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit readiness
- Assist in month-end close and reporting activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decisions
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Represent the firm with professionalism and discretion in all client interactions
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting (preferred) or relevant experience required
- Collections, revenue operations, or financial analysis required
- Strong communication skills, especially with high-net-worth individuals
- Comfortable navigating complex account structures and reconciliations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Professional demeanor and high emotional intelligence
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
- Growth mindset and desire to advance within the organization
