Chief Financial Officer (CFO) | Up to $300k + Bonus | Full Benefits Package

Are you a seasoned financial executive ready to lead strategic transformation and growth in an established Florida-based company? This full-time CFO role offers the chance to shape the financial future of a privately held company with an expansive footprint in real estate and land development. You’ll be at the helm of financial strategy and planning, with oversight of the accounting and finance function, significant interaction with internal and external stakeholders, and will guide infrastructure and succession planning initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who thrives in evolving environments and brings a track record of executive leadership, board-level communication and presentation, and governance expertise. This role requires periodic travel to various business locations (all domestic). Responsibilities

• Drive the company’s overall financial strategy and vision
• Lead and manage all accounting, finance, tax, and treasury functions
• Build scalable processes to support organizational growth and complexity
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting cycles
• Provide strategic input on real estate and land development initiatives
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all entities
• Maintain compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategy
• Present financial insights and recommendations to the Board and Audit Committee
• Support succession planning and long-term organizational sustainability
• Strengthen governance practices in a multi-stakeholder environment
• Foster relationships with external advisors, auditors, and financial institutions
• Conduct periodic site visits to maintain operational visibility and engagement
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Develop and mentor finance team members
• Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA designation is required
• Strong background in real estate and/or land development is required
• Proven experience as a CFO overseeing full finance and accounting functions
• Working knowledge of tax strategy and compliance
• Exceptional executive communication and board presentation skills
• Strategic thinker with hands-on operational capability and comfortable navigating change
• Ability and willingness to travel periodically
