Controller Job Duties: 

• Manage and oversee financial operations for a multi-site business
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for all entities (P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements)
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability and identify cost reduction opportunities
• Manage cash flow & reserves, including monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Lead and mentor team members
• Coordinate and manage financial audits with external auditors
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute financial strategies supporting the company's growth and profitability

Controller Skills/Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA a plus (not required)
• Strong communication skills and confidence in communicating with leadership and owners
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with exposure to multi-site entity accounting
• Skilled at prioritizing and multi-tasking, taking initiative, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Organized, effective leader
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
