Job Description
We are seeking a Controller with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously to become an integral part of a growing, multi-location PE backed company in the Tampa Bay area! APPLY HERE!

Controller Job Duties:
- Lead and supervise the accounting team
- Ensure monthly reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts in collaboration with accounting managers.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls for safeguarding assets and ensuring precise financial reporting.
- Supervise the closing procedures for each location and the corporate function across multiple legal entities.
- Coordinate with branch managers to uphold month-end close deadlines, ensuring timely processing and approval of customer invoices, purchase orders, and vendor invoices.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/technical accounting standards
- Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.
Controller Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Mix of public accounting and industry experience in controller type role preferred
- Solid Excel skills
- Strong planning and organization skills and understanding of the importance of deadlines
- Superb communications skills required
