• Highly competitive compensation, (commensurate with experience), of $180,000 - $200,000, plus bonus and generous equity potential! 

Corporate Controller Job Duties: 

• Responsible for the monthly close process. Develop and improve processes throughout the accounting department to improve efficiency, quality, and cycle time.
• Partner with others to upgrade the company’s financial reporting package to deliver timely, accurate and insightful information to leadership.
• Handle the audit coordination and technical GAAP matters.
• Support compilation of financial information and analyses to private equity sponsor and independent board members.
• Maintain strong accounting and control processes over journal entries, account reconciliations, corporate consolidations, and analysis of changes in account balances, etc.
• Assist with outside firm’s assessment of pass-through income tax compliance and tax distributions.
• Lead and collaborate with other departments and outside consultants to drive successful implementation and evolution of ERP and other financial systems.
• Implement/enhance an accounting structure and underlying policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor accounting team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.

Corporate Controller Skills/Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, active CPA certification required
• 10+ years of  proven, progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience STRONGLY preferred
• Prior supervisory skills and ability to multi-task
• Exposure to acquisition transactions (or an understanding of underlying concepts)
• Advanced technical GAAP and analytical skills required 
• Strong leadership development skills and ability to excel in a team environment 
• Superb attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills required
