Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Are you a driven finance leader with experience in the mortgage industry? Well, this position could be for you! We are conducting a search for a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join a top performing team and lead the build-out of the organization’s FP&A function.

Director of Financial Planning and Analysis Job Duties:
- Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, providing strategic financial guidance and support to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, including annual budgets, long-range plans, and quarterly forecasts.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning.
- Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across the organization to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team of financial analysts.
Director of Financial Planning and Analysis Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Mortgage industry experience REQUIRED.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and draw insightful conclusions.
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Are proficient in financial modeling and data analysis tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC).
- Are highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence.
- Possess strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to develop and motivate a high-performing team.
- Have a strong understanding of business operations and financial accounting principles.
