External Audit Consultant – Remote
Job Description
Are you looking for an audit consulting opportunity? We are conducting a search for an experienced External Audit Consultant to join a top performing CPA Firm in the Tampa Bay area responsible for conducting external audits.
External Audit Consultant Benefits and Compensation:
- Fully remote (Tampa based firm)
- Medical & dental insurance after 90 days
- Highly competitive compensation of $60-85/hour (commensurate with experience)
External Audit Consultant Job Duties:
- Assist with developing the audit strategy, and audit fieldwork
- Assess and recommend audit process improvements
- Draft audit memos, test work, compliance check lists
- Special projects, as needed
IT Audit Consultant Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required
- CPA highly preferred
- Must have 8+ years of external audit experience with CPA firm
- Solid critical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong planning and organization skills and understanding of the importance of deadlines
- Superb communications skills required
