FP&A Manager
Job Description
FP&A Manager | Up to $135k + Bonus Potential | High Growth Company!
Location: Heavily Hybrid | Florida & East Coast Candidates Preferred
An established, private equity-backed company is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to take ownership of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across the full organization. This role reports into senior finance leadership and sits within a collaborative, high-functioning finance group that values partnership across accounting and operations equally. The position is designed for a high-performing professional who arrives with a strong foundation and can successfully operate with a significant degree of independence from day one. The work is hands-on by nature, requiring someone equally comfortable building complex models as they are presenting insights to the executive team. A recurring revenue business model is central to the company's performance, making revenue-side analytical experience not just a preference but a genuine need. The environment rewards curiosity, urgency, and attention to detail, and the ideal candidate takes personal pride in the quality of their work at every level. Those who thrive at the intersection of strategic thinking and granular execution will find this opportunity particularly well-suited to their strengths. Successful completion of background, drug, and reference checks required!
Responsibilities:
- Own the company-wide financial model, including all budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
- Develop and maintain recurring reporting packages distributed to senior leaders, investors, and the board
- Analyze revenue performance across product lines and recurring revenue streams with depth and precision
- Track and report on key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and recommending action
- Partner with accounting leadership to support the budget-to-actual review process
- Lead the annual operating plan process and contribute to long-range strategic financial planning
- Build and refine complex, multi-layered Excel-based models used across the planning function
- Serve as a finance business partner to cross-functional leaders, delivering analysis that drives decisions
- Identify and champion process improvements that increase efficiency across financial operations
- Develop a consistent cadence with stakeholders to review variances and refresh the financial outlook
- Support systems and reporting improvements aimed at increasing automation and scalability
- Prepare and present financial materials for executive and board-level audiences with confidence and clarity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA or advanced degree a plus
- 5+ years of strategic FP&A experience, including experience with a recurring revenue business model
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and forecast revenue, not solely expenses or operational spend
- Advanced Excel proficiency — complex formulas, large data sets, pivot tables, and multi-tab linked models
- Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build from scratch
- Solid understanding of GAAP and the ability to work fluidly across financial systems
- Confident, polished communicator who can engage directly with C-suite and senior leadership
- Highly organized with strong time management, prioritization, and attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of ownership over the work and pride in every deliverable
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP platforms a plus, though not a requirement
Why You'll Love Working Here:
- Heavily remote setting with periodic meetings to collaborate
- Finance team that is collaborative, high-functioning, and genuinely enjoyable to work within
- Direct visibility into senior leadership, investor reporting, and board-level presentations from day one
- A strong counterparts and cross-functional culture that makes finance feel like a true partner
- The autonomy to own meaningful work and make a visible impact on how the company plans and performs
- Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, flexible PTO, and supplemental coverage
