Financial Reporting Manager | $110k–$125k + Bonus Potential
Location: Tampa Bay, FL (Hybrid) | Full-Time

You’ll join a growing financial reporting team and have the opportunity to make a significant impact. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be responsible for all facets of financial reporting to external stakeholders, including lenders and PE sponsors, while also supporting audits and more. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, a high level of ownership, and a naturally inquisitive mindset who can articulate the “why behind the what.”

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and develop a high-performing financial reporting team, fostering collaboration and efficiency
- Oversee the preparation and timely submission of financial statements, disclosures, and related documentation
- Manage financial reporting on both GAAP and non-GAAP bases, ensuring compliance with debt agreements and PE sponsor requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to accounting policies and business requirements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, ensure accuracy, and provide actionable insights
- Facilitate external audits by coordinating processes and addressing inquiries
- Contribute to the monthly close process by reviewing journal entries and reconciliations
- Drive special projects, including system implementations and process improvements
- Research and document complex accounting matters, offering insights and training to team members
- Manage compliance and stakeholder reporting, including quarterly and monthly updates
- Identify and recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align with organizational goals
- Support broader initiatives through ad hoc analyses and special projects
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- 5+ years of highly relevant experience focused on financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivots/VLOOKUPs minimum)
- Experience with large ERP systems; ability to implement best practices is a plus
- Strong critical thinking and self-review skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent planning, organization, and deadline management skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
