Finance Manager Consultant

Finance Manager Consultant Job Duties:
- The role of a Finance Manager will consist of reviewing financial data for analyses and interpretation. The individual in this role will use software packages (Excel) to analyze financial data, spot trends and develop forecasts. Additionally, the person in this role will work with a variety of people across the company; therefore, strong skills in communication are needed.
- Candidate will need to provide analytical support to senior management in preparing long-range plans, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and reviewing actual results compared to forecasts. Identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings within the functional area; present those opportunities to senior managers; and assist in implementing them.
- Additional duties and special projects as assigned
Finance Manager Consultant Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
- 5+ years accounting and/or financial analysis
- Strong analytical abilities with experience extracting data and developing reports in an ERP environment (SAP or NetSuite).
- Strong interest in systems with demonstrable systems mindset and exposure to a large ERP system (SAP or NetSuite).
- Experience defining, writing and implementing business processes.
- Solid critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong planning and organization skills and understanding of the importance of deadlines.
- Superb communications skills required.
