You’ll be joining a team with the stability, brand strength, and infrastructure of an established firm - but with the energy, excitement, and opportunity of a start up. This is your chance to help build something from the ground up, influence the culture, and shape the trajectory of a market that is positioned for rapid growth.

At Taylor White, you’re not just stepping into a job - you’re stepping into the early chapters of a major expansion story.

Position Summary

The Finance Talent Partner plays a critical role within our Consulting Division by identifying, engaging, and supporting skilled accounting and finance consultants for project-based and interim engagements. Working closely with Business Development, this role participates in Job Intake conversations, provides market insight, and then uses a relationship-driven approach to attract, assess, and recommend top-tier professionals for each engagement. Once a consultant is placed, this individual maintains ongoing communication throughout the assignment and proactively plans for their next project - ensuring continuity, quality, and consultant satisfaction.

This role is ideal for an accountant or finance professional who thrives in a people focused environment and enjoys matching talent with meaningful, impactful work.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Job Intake

  • Partner with Business Development on client discovery and Job Intake calls.
  • Ask clarifying questions to understand project scope, deliverables, deadlines, and key success criteria.
  • Offer guidance on market conditions, consultant availability, and competitive bill rate expectations.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to create clear, thorough Job Orders.

Consultant Attraction, Assessment & Matching

  • Build authentic relationships with accounting and finance consultants, understanding their strengths and project interests.
  • Attract and engage qualified professionals through networking, outreach, referrals, and proactive talent development.
  • Evaluate consultant fit based on technical skill, communication, professionalism, and project readiness.
  • Present opportunities in an informative, consultative manner that prioritizes transparency and partnership.
  • Recommend top consultant matches to clients, backed by analysis of capabilities and engagement alignment.
  • Negotiate consultant compensation and project terms in a professional and collaborative way.

Engagement and Ends Management

  • Maintain ongoing communication with consultants throughout their assignments.
  • Support consultant satisfaction, address challenges early, and ensure successful performance.
  • Strategically plan upcoming engagements to minimize gaps in consultant utilization.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to identify future opportunities for redeployment.

Collaboration & Process Excellence

  • Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in internal systems.
  • Work closely with Business Development partners to ensure seamless client and consultant experiences.
  • Commit to continuous improvement and uphold Taylor White’s service and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience as an accountant, public accounting professional, or finance analyst.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and listening skills.
  • Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for people, problem-solving, and creating meaningful career matches.

Preferred

  • Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firms).
  • Exposure to finance consulting or professional services environments.

  • Foundational opportunity in a growing market as we expand our Dallas–Fort Worth Consulting Division.
  • Hybrid flexibility, combining in-office collaboration in Plano with work independence.
  • Purpose-driven impact: You help companies solve urgent business challenges and help consultants grow their careers.
  • Strong industry reputation, built on professionalism, quality, and deep accounting expertise.
