This Financial Analyst opportunity offers a flexible hybrid arrangement and a fun, outgoing team that supports the business in budgeting, forecasting, key metrics, P&L analytics, and much more. The ideal Financial Analyst will have 2 or more years of experience from either a finance or accounting role and will have a focus on quality work and understanding the “why” behind the process. Financial Analyst Job Duties:
- Support the annual budget process by working with management professionals across functions to collect data and set expectations
- Facilitate the monthly forecast process in understanding variances, updating the forecast, and working with internal stakeholders
- Prepare financial reporting deliverables on a periodic basis for management review
- Perform ad hoc analysis on an as needed basis to provide decision-making information to leadership
- Monitor financial and operational trends and work with management to understand key drivers
- Perform P&L analytics, investigate variances, and provide robust explanations to key stakeholders
Financial Analyst Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in FP&A or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required
- Previous experience handling large datasets/data manipulation
- Solid critical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong planning and organization skills and understanding of the importance of deadlines
- Ability to flourish in a high-growth, dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Superb communication skills required
