Financial Analyst
Job Description
Financial Analyst | $80k-$100k + Bonus (salary commensurate with experience)
Location: East of Tampa | Hybrid (1 day in-office, more if preferred) | Full-Time
A high-growth company is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its dynamic FP&A team. This is a high-impact role ideal for a career-focused “go-getter”—someone with strong financial modeling skills, intellectual curiosity, and the drive to grow with the company. If you're currently in advisory, or a PE-backed environment and looking to make a strategic move before busy season, this is your opportunity. This is not your typical analyst role. You’ll work directly with senior leadership, including the C-Suite, and help shape strategic decisions through data-driven insights. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to raise the bar on themselves and the team.
What You’ll Do
- Own and support various operational and financial models across the organization.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team and executive leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial data.
- Prepare routine financial reporting, forecasts, and business insights.
- Deliver clear variance explanations against budget and forecast.
- Serve as a go-to resource and subject matter expert for supported departments.
- Guide business decisions using KPIs and help build them where needed.
- Analyze large data sets using Excel and BI tools.
- Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead or support meetings with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
What You Bring
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis ideally with an advisory, or PE-backed company.
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with BI tools like DOMO, Adaptive Insights, Tableau (preferred).
- Natural curiosity, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Comfortable interacting with executives and cross-functional teams.
- Background check required at offer stage.
