HR Manager | $100K-$120K | Expanding Organization!

Location: Greater Tampa Bay | In-Office Setting | Local Candidates Only

A growing manufacturing organization is setting the stage for significant forward momentum in this coming year and is in search of an HR Manager who can take ownership of payroll preparation, benefits, employee relations, and day to day people operations in a hands on environment. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping processes, integrating newly acquired operations, and supporting a well-established, tenured workforce. The position requires a steady presence onsite and a commitment to accuracy, reliability, and thoughtful leadership. You’ll work closely with leadership while guiding an HR Generalist responsible for recruiting and onboarding. The team values consistency and partnership, offering supportive coverage during high volume periods and time away. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare weekly, auditing time entries and applying necessary manual adjustments with accuracy.
  • Resolve timekeeping exceptions (missed punches), administer PTO entries, and process pay changes and incentives.
  • Manage workers’ compensation cases and partner coordination.
  • Administer benefits and retirement programs, including enrollments, changes, and compliance notifications.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee relations, coach leaders and promote retention efforts.
  • Direct and develop an HR Generalist responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Lead performance review cycles and development planning.
  • Maintain compliant HR policies and practices across jurisdictions.
  • Oversee workplace safety compliance in a manufacturing setting, coordinate training, and incident tracking.
  • Ensure HR data integrity and file management; produce clear, timely reports as needed.
  • Lead HR integration workstreams tied to the recent acquisition, harmonizing processes, policies, and benefits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.  
  • Proven HR leadership in a manufacturing/industrial environment, with hands on exposure to workers’ compensation processes.
  • Demonstrated strength in employee relations, investigations, coaching, and policy management.
  • Comfortable supervising HR staff and elevating recruiting/onboarding quality and consistency.
  • Familiar with safety programs and compliance standards relevant to production environments.
  • Spanish bilingual is a big plus.
  • High integrity, exceptional attention to detail, and a calm, organized approach in fast paced settings.
