Job Description
If you are a driven executive procurement professional, we want to talk with you! We are conducting a search for a Head of Procurement to join one of our growing clients in the Tampa Bay area. You will primarily be responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement functions for the company.
Head of Procurement Benefits and Compensation:
- A professional working environment (heavily hybrid), with strong leadership and high visibility
- Highly competitive compensation of $155,000 - $185,000, plus bonus potential and strong benefits package
Head of Procurement Job Duties:
- Identifies and oversees the development and implementation of system-wide expectations, standards, programs, and/or initiatives in order to achieve desired and integrated strategic business objectives and outcomes.
- Directs, supervises, and evaluates the work of staff. Works with them to identify and resolve the most complex issues and problems impacting initiatives and operations. Articulates and demonstrates an expectation for continuous quality improvement utilizing processes that include consideration of all stakeholders. Fosters an environment that focuses on processes and outcomes.
- Builds and supports effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and organizations, ensuring and fostering a high level of collaboration to develop partnerships, coordinate activities, exchange information, and resolve problems.
- Oversees the development, implementation, and consistent application of effective organizational policies and practices.
- Develops, reviews, and monitors financial and performance outcomes to assure attainment of organizational objectives.
- End-to-end process ownership including identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure relevant information is shared timely, including FP&A, accounting, operations, legal and executive leadership.
- High sense of ownership over work areas and comfortable raising data and conversations to support accountability and ownership throughout the organization, including escalating risks and issues as necessary to executive leadership.
Head of Procurement Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business major, MBA highly preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience required; experience preferred in environments that have seen growth and maturity
- Consumer services or medical multi-site experience preferred
- Detail oriented self-starter with the ability to think strategically and effectively prioritize while managing various projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of developing people, leading and managing high-performing teams
- Ability to be flexible and continuously drive processes, deliverables, and timelines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
