International Tax Senior

International Tax Senior | $85,000-$110,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
Location: Tampa, FL (In-Office) | Full-Time
A global manufacturing leader is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced International Tax Senior to join its growing tax team at its newly relocated headquarters in Tampa, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established organization entering a new chapter of growth and transformation.
This role will support global tax compliance, planning, and accounting functions, with a focus on U.S. international tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and a proactive mindset in a fast-paced corporate setting.
What You’ll Do:
Tax Compliance
- Review approximately 150 filings of Forms 5471, 8858, and 8865
- Prepare Foreign Tax Credit (FTC) computations, including Section 861 allocations and Form 1118
- Maintain the FTC model (Excel version of Form 1120)
- Track and manage tax pools, earnings & profits (E&P), and tax basis
- File tax residency certificates
- Perform Section 987 currency gain/loss calculations
Tax Planning
- Manage U.S. international tax issues related to acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and general planning
- Monitor changes in U.S. and non-U.S. tax laws that impact international tax strategy
Tax Accounting
- Support the Controller in preparing quarterly and year-end tax provision inputs related to U.S. international tax
Audit Support
- Assist in responding to tax examination queries involving international tax computations and reporting
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting and/or relevant industry roles
- Experience with CORPTAX preferred
- Strong ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Solid understanding of U.S. international tax regulations and reporting requirements
