This person will ideally have a blend of accounting, finance, and treasury experience, and be an effective business partner to the CFO and executive leadership. They will serve as a transformative change agent within a well-established manufacturing organization, playing a pivotal role in evaluating, designing, and executing improvements to the company’s processes, tools, and teams, ultimately evolving the sophistication, timeliness and usefulness of information critical to the growth of the company. The ideal candidate will have the ability to apply strategic insight, while having the willingness and patience to dive into more tactical issues necessary to achieve the vision for the company’s future. Inventory Control Manager Consultant:

Inventory Control Manager Consultant Job Duties:
- Oversee inventory management, supply chain logistics, and maintenance of equipment and tools.
- Enhancing and maintaining a program to monitor cycle counts and inventory reconciliations and oversee inventory reporting.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business plans, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
- Manage a team of direct reports and foster an environment of collaboration, accountability, and adherence to strategic initiatives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional development among staff members.
- Perform inspections and quality checks on incoming inventory to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Work closely with the production teams to coordinate inventory needs and resolve any issues.
Inventory Control Manager Consultant Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in preferred
- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role with the end to end process from raw materials to finished goods, preferably in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods
- Possess a process innovator mindset with the ability to understand how the inventory process impacts the operations as whole
- Experience managing a team and strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve performance goals
- Able to work as a self-starter, prioritizing your own work without close supervision
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity
- Excellent analytical, teamwork, and leadership skill
