Payroll Tax Analyst | $55k–$65k | Multistate, High-Volume Role

What You’ll Do:

• Manage payroll tax activities across multiple jurisdictions
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and payments
• Maintain compliance with evolving payroll tax regulations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payroll tax data
• Support internal reporting and documentation efforts
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payroll tax processes
• Assist with year-end payroll tax procedures and reconciliations
• Contribute to system transitions and process improvements

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of payroll tax experience required
• Strong Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Experience with multistate payroll processing and tax reconciliations
• Hands-on experience with payroll tax registration required
• Experience with large payroll volumes (500+ employees)
• Familiarity with payroll systems; system implementation experience is a plus
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Professional communicator with a team-oriented mindset
