Senior Accountant – Acquisition Integration Job Duties:  

• Develop an understanding of acquisition companies' accounting practices and processes.
• Plan and coordinate integration efforts, addressing key items with internal departments.
• Review and upload monthly financials, ensuring accuracy through account reconciliations.
• Analyze monthly P&Ls to confirm data integrity and accuracy.
• Serve as the primary liaison between local teams and internal departments for integrating AP and AR processes.
• Review Quality of Earnings, perform working capital true-ups, and record opening balance sheets.
• Facilitate the migration of accounting tasks to corporate (e.g., AP, AR, Fixed Assets).
• Map account balances into the corporate structure and ensure proper recording of topside accruals.
• Lead post-acquisition financial reviews, including purchase price accounting entries.
• Support due diligence efforts by preparing pro forma adjustments and initial budget estimates.
• Conduct monthly review meetings to analyze financial performance, variances, and trends.
• Evaluate and improve acquisition integration policies, templates, and methodologies while handling ad hoc projects as needed.

 Senior Accountant – Acquisition Integration Skills/Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience, or a mix of industry & public accounting, preferred
• Exposure to acquisition transactions (or an understanding of underlying concepts) a plus
• Advanced utilization of Excel required
• Advanced technical and analytical skills required
• Strong leadership development skills and ability to excel in a team environment
• Superb attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills required
