- Highly competitive compensation of $95,000 - $105,000 (commensurate with experience)
Senior Accountant Job Duties:
- Compile and analyze financial reports on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while comparing performance against historical data, budgets, and projections.
- Support the annual review and update of cost structures and pricing models.
- Oversee and contribute to various inventory-related processes, including cost analysis, stock verification, and variance assessments for both procured and internally produced items.
- Execute journal entries and perform financial analyses as part of the monthly closing process.
- Conduct reconciliations to ensure balance sheet accuracy and integrity.
- Manage and maintain financial allocations within SAP, including setup and oversight of cost and profit structures.
- Contribute to the preparation of regulatory financial disclosures on a periodic basis.
- Assist in transaction reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
- Help establish and monitor internal controls to uphold financial and operational integrity.
- Participate in special initiatives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Senior Accountant Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Big 4 public accounting experience and CPA certification highly preferred
- 4+ years accounting within a manufacturing/inventory-centric environment
- Large ERP system required
- Process improvement mindset and someone who wants to maintain a sense of ownership over their work.
- Solid technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and superb communications skills required
