Senior Accountant Benefits and Compensation:

- Highly competitive compensation of $75,000 - $90,000, plus bonus and benefits (salary commensurate with experience)
Senior Accountant Job Duties:
- Oversee the general ledger with timely and accurate entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Post month-end journal entries, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Manage fixed asset and depreciation accounts for accurate capital asset tracking and reporting.
- Review key account activity to identify and address unusual transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Support the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, with variance analysis and insights.
- Stay current on accounting regulations and advise on impacts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings, including reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audits, preparing documentation and resolving inquiries.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, coordinating with external advisors as needed.
- Develop and document internal control policies and procedures for accurate reporting.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and best practices.
- Participate in special projects, providing analytical and technical expertise.
- Mentor junior accounting staff, fostering development and high performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Senior Accountant Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA or pursuing CPA required
- 1+ years of experience in public accounting, additional industry experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong Excel required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and work within tight deadlines
- Superb attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communications skills required
