Senior Accountant | Up to $95k + Bonus Potential | Rapidly Expanding Organization!

In this role, you’ll join a highly collaborative accounting team that values problem solving, curiosity, and working together to navigate a fast growing environment. You’ll work closely with an approachable and energetic Accounting Manager who is deeply committed to team development and shared success. This position plays a key role in core accounting activities and contributes directly to the accuracy and reliability of financial results. You’ll also partner with various internal groups and affiliates, helping them understand transactions and best practices. Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly journal entries with strong attention to accuracy
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Analyze monthly variances and provide clear, actionable insights
• Support audits by gathering documentation and addressing requests
• Partner with financial reporting on data needs and process alignment
• Evaluate processes and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency
• Contribute to automation efforts to streamline recurring tasks
• Assist with transaction questions and accounting guidance
• Maintain organized records and ensure adherence to policies
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on accounting impacts
• Manage assigned close activities to ensure deadlines are met
• Take ownership of specific processes and work to elevate them over time

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA strongly preferred but not required
• 3+ years core accounting experience (public, industry, or a blend)
• Superb Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, large datasets, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal and external partners
• High initiative with a desire to own processes and pursue continuous improvement
